As contentiousness turned into real-world consequences, "Reversing Roe" reminds us that the more women get involved regarding their rights, the more likely we're to see a fair, principled fight.
Provides a clear and accessible overview of more than 50 years of the social and legal history of the issue in the United States.
While the documentary sheds welcome light on Roe's history -- on the road that brought us to this crucial juncture -- the filmmakers, perhaps inevitably, bypassed some key stops and turns along the way.
Solid and valuable but familiar.
While the pacing becomes uneven at times, Netflix has another strong documentary on its hands.
Covering a lot of ground in its 99 minute runtime, the film is a good introduction for anyone struggling to grasp the mechanisms involved in recent political and judicial dealings relating to this issue.
Nothing new here but a good primer for those who never thought that politics has anything to do with their lives.
